The Birth and Evolution of Collateral Jammage

Collateral Jammage Productions is a Multimedia Productions, Promotions and live entertainment company situated in Fruitvale, BC. We have many top of the line recording applications, the know-how and the gear to back it up. We can easily, and time efficiently, capture and manage singles, demos, commercials, sounds effects or even full albums.

5 years ago, i plugged my combo headphone / web mic into my stock sound card on my 1.8ghz Celeron desktop PC, and recorded my first song "My Creation" with a program called Acoustica Mixcraft v2.0 Wow...so much has happened since then!

Moving on, within a year i was working with people on recording music, mainly as a hobby and passtime. With that experience i grew more and more defined as a producer and sound engineer. Over the next 3 years, I experimented with many great musicians with recording and producing.

Having just an additional 12 channel Behringer mixer to enhance my previous setup, i continued spending any spare time i could afford towards production and becoming a recording artists - hands on. I met with many talented, bright people who had gone to school, or made successful careers out of musical production, and i learned much by working with them, and hearing what they had to say when critiquing my work. In that time, i managed to get a spot on the local radio, doing an interview for Brad Moore from "Made in the Kootenays" on All Hit KBS.


Some of the info in this interview is out of date, we have expanded dramatically since then.
It was in the fall of 2007 that i decided to create an actual front to promote my works and services. This was the Official conception of Collateral Jammage Productions. The name came to both myself and my good friend, Jamphibian Chato, when we were driving back from a gig in Grand Fork.


There are many private studios around, but none of them are easy to find for the general public or independent musician, and the proprietary owners would generally only take clients they know personally

And now here I am, 5 years later, with a state of the art combo studio, and ready to announce the Official Website. This has been the pivotal step in the evolution of CJP and will by no means mark the end of my goal to level the playing field between overexposed and underexposed musicians, artists, film makers and performers that all share a passion to share their lifes work, and receive ALL the benefits they deserve for taking the time to help inspire others to achieve their own greatness through sharing their talents.

So please come visit the website and check out the "Promotions" section where we feature some of the amazing artists that have helped inspire me throughout the incubation and growth of CJP. They deserve every ounce of praise for acting as a source of light to shine for the many dark experiences that we all face in our own unique ways, and this is my way of acknowledging their support, whether direct or otherwise. Thank you all - You know who you are!

And last but by no means the least - and in fact these two act as the conduit for which CJP.com was made possible - I would like to acknowledge and give my deepest gratitude to Randy McCallum, Arlo Bergstrom, and Lenn Delorie for having faith in my work, and for taking a chance on a young man with some crazy ideas. I would not have been able to do any of this without you, and i am forever in debt and dedicated to paying it forward to others like myself, so that we all may see a future of freedom and prosperity.
